Tracy Cruz began teaching vocal lessons to inspire singers to openly share and pursue their passion for music. Her #1 goal is to guide all of her students in becoming stronger, more confident and happier singers. She is strongly motivated in helping her students reach a higher level of creativity and achieve their goals and dreams. 

 

Tracy received her BA in Televison, Radio, Film, and Theatre with an emphasis in Music Performance at San Jose State University. She studied under the tutelage of Ledisi (multiple Grammy Award nominee R&B/Soul recording artist), Greg Farbizio (vocal director for Darrell Leffler’s Academy of Music), Virginia Groce-Roberts (former Minister of Music of Emmanuel Baptist Church), Erie Mills (former Professor of Music at San Jose State University) and more. Tracy has taught for the Children's Musical Theatre of San Jose Conservatory of Performing Arts, Darrell Leffler's Academy of Music, T.E.M.P.O. (Teens Engaging in Music Performance Opportunities), Evergreen Studio of Music and the Arts, and PnC Music Company. In the past, she was hired as a vocal director for the musical Grease (youth production) and an assistant music director for Alice in Wonderland (youth production).

 

Her students have successfully competed and won city, state, and global singing competitions such as the KBLX 102.9 FM Rising Star Talent Competition South Bay Teen Idol, SJ's Got Talent, Greater Bay Area Talent Competition, The Western Regional California State Talent and Performing Arts Competition, Bright Lights, Big Dreams Bay Area Youth Talent Search, Alameda County Fair Community Talent Competition, and The Voice of China.
